Classic GP – Historic F1 Pre-1986

Race Ready and Roadbook have joined forces to organise this Classic GP race for F1 cars during the Spa Six Hours weekend. For many, driving a Formula 1 car on Spa’s iconic 7km layout is a dream come true — and the more you drive it, the more you fall in love with it.
FORMAT
- Two qualifying sessions of 20 minutes each
- Two races of 20 minutes each
Your participation includes:
• A place in a shared F1 pit box
• Welcome & Access in a dedicated Corner Coffee area
TECHNICAL INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
Eligible cars:
Eligible cars are pre-1986 Formula 1 cars of a type that would have competed in period divided by the following classes:
- Pre Ground Effect Class: For Formula 1 build before 31.12.79 or without Ground Effect or Flat Bottom.
- Ground Effect and Flat Bottom Class: For Formula 1 build before 31.12.85 with Ground Effect or Flat Bottom.
- Class INV: By special application cars complying with Appendix K but not eligible in any of the other classes will be considered if the organisation committee considers that they are in the spirit of the competition and will enhance the grid and add to the other drivers’ enjoyment.
Eligible tyres:
- Avon A11 Compound only for dry weather use.
- Avon A15 Wet Compound allowed only if declared a wet race by the race director.
REGISTRATION
The entry fee for the Classic GP – Historic F1 Pre-1986 is 1.650€ + vat per car.
